Steve Bryan

GM and EVP of Transportation with SambaSafety

As Founder and President of Vigillo, a SambaSafety company, Steve Bryan and the SambaSafety Transportation team brings over 200 years of experience in the areas of statistics, software development, risk management and compliance. Steve is a veteran technology leader who founded Vigillo in 2007. Vigillo was acquired by SambaSafety in 2017. Steve now serves on the Executive Team at SambaSafety as the EVP and GM of Transportation, overseeing the regulated trucking industry within the broader SambaSafety business.

Deryk Powell

President of Velociti, Inc.

Deryk began his professional career as a sales representative with Thermo-King dealer group CSTK, in 1993. In 1995, as technology-based products for commercial fleets were rapidly emerging for enterprise use, Deryk recognized a void in the market and developed Velociti’s business model to fill this void, by creating a project management firm focused on offering professional design, deployment and support services to meet the needs of commercial fleets as well as technology providers. In 2005, Deryk was named Chief Operating Officer and in 2013, Deryk was named President. He is responsible for the overall management of Velociti with a focus on strategic growth initiatives and client relationships.
