Please join us for the third installment of the Transportation Brief on April 9 at 10 am MST. Steve Bryan, EVP and GM of Transportation with SambaSafety, will be joined this week by Joe Darby, Director of Risk Control and Safety of the Transportation and Logistics Practice with Aon. Steve and Joe will cover top-of-mind issues and concerns regarding transportation, insurance, and circumstances currently facing the industry. This discussion will include industry insights, adress current issues, and provide opportunities for presenting to insurers in a positive light.

This conversational series will consist of 15-30 minute discussions on an ongoing weekly basis.

Steve Bryan

As Founder and President of Vigillo, a SambaSafety company, Steve Bryan and the SambaSafety Transportation team brings over 200 years of experience in the areas of statistics, software development, risk management and compliance. Steve is a veteran technology leader who founded Vigillo in 2007. Vigillo was acquired by SambaSafety in 2017. Steve now serves on the Executive Team at SambaSafety as the EVP and GM of Transportation, overseeing the regulated trucking industry within the broader SambaSafety business.

Joe Darby

Director of Risk Control, Transportation and Logistics Practice, Aon

Joe began his lifelong carrier in transportation in 1988 as a small parcel driver making dozens of delivery’s and pick-ups in a shift. He obtained a Class A Commercial Driver’s License a couple years later in a cab-over tractor. From 2006 until 2014 he was employed as a Transportation Safety Consultant with Marsh Risk Consulting. He helped companies evaluate existing fleet safety programs, and made recommendations for improvement, and helped implement goals set by the client and Joe to improve pre-loss and post-loss safety. Joe has additional experience in operations, safety, maintenance management, and risk management. He is a Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) as of 2008, credited by the National Private Truck Council.
